As part of a research we are looking for interviewees who have moved from Slovakia

As part of an international research we are looking for interviewees who have moved from Slovakia. If you would like to answer our questions, please contact us!

The research is carried out by the Institute of the University of Maastricht (ITEM), the Transfrontier Euro-Institute Network (TEIN) and CESCI and focuses on the benefits and added value of the implementation of the mechanism for the removal of the legal and administrative obstacles in the border area (ECBM 2.0).

The Bratislava cross-border agglomeration is also analysed in this research. Here we explore the factors that motivated Slovak citizens to move to the Hungarian side of the agglomeration of Bratislava. In addition, we identify the obstacles that limit everyday life in the border region.

Besides documentary research, we aim to conduct interviews with different stakeholders. The interviews will be conducted online and will take approximately 25-30 minutes. If you are a Slovakian citizen living on the Hungarian side of the Bratislava agglomeration, we welcome your opinions, experiences, difficulties and ideas for solutions regarding the life alongside the border in the form of an interview. You are welcome to contact us by e-mail at teodor.gyelnik@cesci-net.eu or via our Facebook page.
