The Polish town of Słubice and the German border town of Frankfurt (Oder) are separated only by the Oder River. To facilitate daily cooperation and the implementation of projects, the two town councils have been operating a joint office (Frankfurt-Słubice Cooperation Centre) since 2011.

Joint tourist services:

  • German-Polish Tourist Information Office: provides information on attractions and tourist information on the German and Polish sides of the city and in the surrounding area;
  • online map of the region with the main attractions marked;
  • detailed joint website with information on the most important sights, children’s programs, events and transport options in the city and the surrounding area, accommodation, cultural programs, guided city tours, restaurants, etc.;
  • informative videos about the shared history of the cities;
  • bus services connecting the two cities;
  • boat services connecting the two cities on the Oder River;
  • jointly organized festivals: Europe Day, Frankfurt-Słubicer HanseStadtfest;
  • combined museum ticket: valid for admission to 3 museums for 3 days (the museums are listed on the German website).
