The F&W Market Place project was implemented in the framework of the Interreg Maritime Programme 2014-2020, in cooperation with Italian and French partners. The initiative aims to promote the sale of local products and to create links between local producers and buyers. Thanks to the project, a single website has been created, which not only provides an overview of producers and their products in the border area, but also offers the possibility to connect producers and buyers and to shop online.
The website will offer a selection of local products by region, producer and type of food, which can be ordered online with registration. Access to the initiative is open to all local producers, who can also register on the project website.
The website operates as a completely free advertising platform and marketplace, with content producers providing ongoing assistance to the producer, whether it’s profile creation, advertising placement or logistical advice. The advertising campaign mainly involves sharing references, sending emails and organising promotional events.[1]
The project was implemented from March 2017 to June 2019.
